Welcome to the John Richard Allison LibraryThe John Richard Allison Library is jointly owned by Regent College and Carey Theological College, and is one of the major theological libraries in western Canada. The Allison Library houses a growing collection of over 150,000 monographs, DVD, video and audiotapes, and over 450 periodical subscriptions. Several rare book and special collections are available for use only in the Allison Library. We also provide electronic access to several databases. Situated next to the University of British Columbia campus, Regent and Carey students may also access electronic and print resources through the UBC libraries with a valid UBC card. The main strengths of the book collection lie in biblical studies, congregational and pastoral studies, and Protestant thought. Our resources also include many significant volumes from the Catholic tradition, such as the Patrologia Graeca (50 vols.), and many other important works on the history of theology, philosophy, and spirituality.
