Plagiarism is defined in the Regent College Academic Catalogue under Academic Information/ Academic Integrity as being "an academic offence in which someone presents, in whole or in part, the work of another person as his or her own work."This includes:
failure to acknowledge the use of other people's words and ideas (including paraphrasing another person's words or ideas) in your written work
failure to acknowledge the use of other people's images or creations in a work of art, or other people's words in an oral presentation
Plagiarism is a serious offence, the penalty for which is a failing grade for the course and possible suspension from the College.
