Jenny-Lyn de Klerk
As Puritan Project Assistant, Jenny-Lyn works on acquiring rare books, preserving the current collections, and looking for ways to make them useful for patrons. After reading John Owen's Mortification of Sin and On Communion with God, she fell in love with everything Puritan and wrote her master's thesis on Calvin's and Owen's views of experiencing the Holy Spirit in prayer at Ambrose University (Calgary, AB). She is currently working on a PhD in church history at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (Kansas City, MO) and writes for historicaltheology.org. She and her husband attend Richmond Alliance Church, where JD serves as Associate Pastor. To see photos and reflections on our rare books and stay updated on recent acquisitions, follow her on instagram @puritanjenny.
