On February 22, 2021, Regent College and the John Richard Allison Library will move into stage 3 of reopening. The Allison Library continues to be committed to ensuring the safety of staff and patrons. Many of the pre-existing regulations still apply and can be found here. Only current Regent students may book study spaces in the library, students need to confirm that they have conducted the COVID-19 self-assessment test, and masks must be worn at all times. The stacks are closed for browsing but students can browse the shelves virtually and place holds on books to be delivered to their study desks (a limit of 10 per day).

New policies include:

  • Expanded hours (9 am - 4 pm)
  • Increase in the number of bookable study spaces
  • While pre-booking appointments are strongly encouraged, students attending hybrid classes can come into the library and register at the circulation desk for a study space if there are available spaces
