Our new display on illustrations is now up in the library foyer! Unlike many new editions of old books, these early editions include illustrations on their title pages and frontispieces that show something about the time in which they were made. This display includes Farewell Sermons (from Baxter and others), Bunyan’s Divine Emblems, Sibbes’ Glance of Heaven, and Preston’s Golden Scepter. While you’re taking a peek, don’t forget to enjoy our display on John Owen, which will be taken down in a couple of weeks.
