The St. John’s Bible Heritage Edition, generously donated to Regent College earlier this year, has quietly been making itself known throughout the college since its arrival. While we are in the process of creating its permanent home, we couldn’t wait to share it with the community. The Allison Library is delighted to host Open Pages with The St. John’s Bible twice a week, for seven weeks, starting this Tuesday (Oct. 26). These hour-long sessions will run on:

Tuesdays (10:00 am - 11:00 am)

Wednesdays (12:00 pm - 1:00 pm)*

Each session will provide a new opportunity to engage with one of the seven unique volumes. We invite you to join us for an informal sneak peek at the beautiful illuminations, calligraphy, and craftsmanship that bring scripture to life in the pages of the Saint John’s Bible Heritage Edition.

This week we will display The Pentateuch, the first of the seven volumes, just inside the North entrance of the building. We invite you to come see, read, and touch this unique work of art that combines ancient Benedictine tradition with modern technology and vision.
