Printing in the Allison Library

The Allison Library provides printing, photocopying and scanning services to our patrons using a printing services application PaperCut. Regent students can add printing credit to their account at the Allison Library Circulation Desk. Community Members and students from neighbouring schools can purchase guest cards in the amount of $2. All copies for printing and photocopying cost 10 cents per page

Printing your Document

In order to access PaperCut and redeem the printing card or to upload a document for printing, you will need to go to the following web address https://papercut.regent-college.edu:9192.  If you encounter a certificate security warning, you will need to click 'details' or 'advanced' and choose to proceed to the site anyway.

Students will use their Regent login credentials as their username and password. Guests will use the username and password printed on their printing services guest card. Printing may be done wirelessly by accessing PaperCut on your own computer or is available to Regent students on workstations in the Computer Lab.

Before printing any documents, the printing services card will need to be redeemed for printing credit. At the PaperCut summary page, click on the Redeem Card option in the menu on the left side of the page. Enter the code from the printing services card you purchased from the circulation desk and click redeem card. PaperCut will confirm the card has been successfully applied to your accout by displaying a green check mark on the page.

In order to print your document select Submit a Job; Choose Printer 1 or Copier 1 or Copier 2; Choose how many copies you want; Browse to find your document on your device; Select Upload.

By selecting upload and complete, you will send the job to print. You cannot cancel the print job after you choose this step.

Please note that in order to print webpages, emails or content that contains Greek or Hebrew characters, you will need to save them as a PDF and then upload them to PaperCut.

Retrieve your document from the device you have selected. Printer 1 is located on the table near the Library Director's office. Copier 1 & 2 are located in the library Copier Room beside the circulation desk.

Ensure you log out of the workstation when you are finished so that your account and documents remain secure.
