The Visual Commentary on Scripture is a free, online resource that provides material for teaching, preaching, researching, and reflecting on the Bible, Art, and Theology.  

The purpose of this collaborative project is to create a curated, visual exhibit of women in the history of Christianity, highlighting their leadership, ministry, and piety. 

This is the online version of the 3rd edition of the World Christian Encyclopedia, which documents the changing status of World Christianity over the past 120 years from historical and social scientific perspectives.
